Friday night after birthday parties the kids went to, a little shopping for Caelin and Jace we spent the night until almost 11:00 getting the yard ready for my beautiful sister Rocki who convinced her amazing husband Brett to come help us in our backyard with some curbing around our grass area! It looks so great! The kids had fun with there cute little cousins Brinlee and Brikelle while Rocki and I chatted and the guys worked. However by the end of the day we were running short on time and I was shoveling and I am quite sore today, but it was so worth it. We were working so hard we didn't get pictures of the mixing part of the concrete or me shoveling concrete and sand. I guess that is ok I know I did it! Thanks again Brett and Rocki for spending the day with us to get it all done. Now if we could just get my truck out of the shop we could get some more block to get some more progress on the wall done.

Your truck is still in the shop? What is taking them so long? You are so lucky to have some help - it definately speeds things up :)and it's looking better all the time! Brikelle is not looking to happy tho :(!
I love curbing, it makes a lawn look so clean and finished. Jeff loves a good project, and Brett is a great wing man on anything. You guys have done great things to the yard. You'll never leave home once its done.
