This and That......

School is officially out and I now have a 5th grader and a 3rd grader, where o' where has the time gone. Caelin and Jace both came home with straight A's for the entire year. They are quite amazing kids if I say so myself. The last full week of school was spirit week and (unlike me) they love to get dressed up and participate in this fun week. So I have a few pictures from the week but didn't get all of there outfits, sorry!

So Monday was "Sports Day" and they both dressed in there soccer uniforms from when Jace was the player and Caelin was the Assistant Coach,

Tuesday was "Dress all in your favorite color day" (don't have a picture). Caelin dressed in all black and Jace dressed in blue (mostly).

Wednesday was "Outrageous Outfit and Crazy Hair Day" Caelin decided not to do the hair but the outfit was wild; and yes Jace did his own hair.

Thursday was "PJ Day", self explanatory.

Friday was "Twin Day" Caelin and her BFF dressed in jeans, white t-shirt, and hair in pony tails (wish I would have gotten a picture of them together). Jace wore jean shorts and his cub scout shirt the same as three other boys in his class (also wish I had a picture).

On another note my truck is finally back after almost four week in the shop but it is good as new. So now maybe we can get back to some more home projects except now it is reunion time and summer trips to the mountains and really it is HOT to be out slaving away anyway. Fall will be here soon enough.

Weekend Work/Fun!

Friday night after birthday parties the kids went to, a little shopping for Caelin and Jace we spent the night until almost 11:00 getting the yard ready for my beautiful sister Rocki who convinced her amazing husband Brett to come help us in our backyard with some curbing around our grass area! It looks so great! The kids had fun with there cute little cousins Brinlee and Brikelle while Rocki and I chatted and the guys worked. However by the end of the day we were running short on time and I was shoveling and I am quite sore today, but it was so worth it. We were working so hard we didn't get pictures of the mixing part of the concrete or me shoveling concrete and sand. I guess that is ok I know I did it! Thanks again Brett and Rocki for spending the day with us to get it all done. Now if we could just get my truck out of the shop we could get some more block to get some more progress on the wall done.
