3rd Grade here I come!

It is hard to believe that this school year is over. I will miss the quiet afternoons over the next 7 weeks, but it will be nice not to be "on the go" quite so much. Caelin had her class picnic on Thursday and her teacher did an amazing slide show of the year and all the kids. It was great fun to watch. We also got to sit around the classroom and eat our lunch together. Caelin has had a fun year with Mrs. Noble and will definitely miss her next year. She had a great year and did an amazing job this year with her reading program. We are grateful to Mrs. Noble and the hard work she put into the classroom this year and all that she taught Caelin. She has a great teacher lined up for 3rd grade! We feel blessed to have had such great teachers to help shape the lives of our kids. Thanks Sycamore! Thanks Mrs. Noble!

Kindergarten Graduation!

Getting his Diploma!!! The Official First Grader!!

On Thursday May 21st @ 12:30 Jace graduated from Sycamore Elementary Kindergarten. He has had so much fun this year actually having his own class to go to. He couldn't wait for school to start and now he can hardly wait to start 1st grade. He will have the same teacher Caelin had for 1st Grade which he is thrilled with and the teacher is thrilled to have him in her class. What a great year he has had making new friends, having new adventures, and mostly learning and growing. Jace started off this year with a brand new baby brother which he has adored. On the other hand it meant less time for the volunteering in the classroom which Jace really missed. He is reading at a 2nd grade level and does amazing in comprehension testing, he is a smart kid. (He gets that from his dad) He does have issues at times where he wont put much effort into things. I haven't figured out if he is lazy, bored, or just in a rush to move on to the next thing. His teacher did tell us that she was very impressed with his reading but wished he would put more effort into his writing. We will see maybe 1st grade will help him progress with other areas as he did with reading. Congrats Buddy! We love you!

The Big Day!

So I am a little behind these days but soon I will get back on track. Caelin was baptized on May 2nd. She was a few weeks late because the last month she was all ready and she was sick that day! It was ok though we had a great day! We didn't have a lot of family but enough to make the day special for Caelin. Congrats sis! We love you and are so proud of you!
