The Cruise Continues

Day 3 was Grand Cayman....this was an interesting day. Jeff got a little irritated and I didn't take it very well and needless to stay he stayed on the ship this day. We didn't have any excursions we just walked and walked and walked.
My two beautiful sisters and I (Sherra left, Jonna middle)

Grand Cayman

We had a couple of on board entertainment the were amazing the best one was a magician/comedian. He had us laughing so hard I thought we would die. His name is Chad Chesmark and would love to see him again. We were on the front row and he got my sister Sherra up on the stage with him she was laughing so hard I am surprised she didn't pee her pants.

Seeing this picture makes me want to laugh even more!

She is laughing so hard I really thought she might pass out or something!
Someone recognized her the next day and asked if she was the one on the stage!
Even with the drama this was a good day!

Caelin turns 12!!!

Wow where have the past 12 years gone! Caelin is my helper and I love her dearly I am looking forward to being in Young Women's with her. She is sassy, beautiful, fun, helpful, drives her dad crazy, smart, caring, good friend, amazing daughter, loves sports, and a good example. Caelin I love you for the amazing daughter you are. Happy Birthday!

This year we went to Skate Country!
Only one friend showed to the party her one and only BFF Sabrina!!

The Cruise

OH HAPPY DAY!!!
So Jeff and I, my mom and dad, my sister Sherra and her husband John, and my sister Jonna and her husband John were able to do the Western Caribbean cruise this past month. I had an amazing time I loved being away from all the realities of life (kids-many thanks to my niece Brittney who braved the week with four crazy kids). I checked out of Young Women's missed two Sundays and a mutual and it was just nice to not worry.

Just boarded ready to set sail

We flew to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where we boarded the Celebrity Cruise Lines ship "Silhouette". It was a beautiful boat with amazing food. Day 1 was at sea and it was nice to just relax and eat and relax and eat. :0)

Our first stop (Day 2) was Cozumel, Mexico where we did a Mayan Ruins tour. It was a long day and didn't see much of Cozumel but fun sites anyway.

Sites along the way of the 2 1/2 mile walk

 More sites to see
The Grand Finale!!
This one we were able to climb to the top and it was quite a hike!

At the end of our hike we got back on the bus and went to lunch and it was served in a dark dungeon like cave. Didn't eat much of it not fun not being able to see what you are eating.

Our dining room!

Dancers that entertained while we ate!

Day 3 still to come.................

New Beginnings

Caelin and I attended "New Beginnings" the other night. It is hard for me to believe that Caelin will soon be in Young Women's with me and starting this next stage of her life. She will be out of Primary and in with the big girls. I am more than excited for her and she is excited to have me in there with her. She will be an amazing Young Women. So many of the Young Women already think so highly of her and I know she will be a great example to those around her as she begins her Personal Progress and learning what a remarkable Daughter of God she is.

There will be another two girls who will move in to Young Women's this year and this night was to honor each of them and to familiarize them with the Young Women program and all that it has to offer.

I am looking forward to April when Caelin turns 12 and gets to join me each week for activities and then be able to be with her at Girls Camp, what great memories we will share!

National Junior Honor Society

Caelin was just inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. She previously served 2 years with the National Elementary Honor Society and seemed to enjoy it. I think this will be a great opportunity for her and will teach her new things as well. We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments to get where she is today. So proud to be your mom!
This is the letter Caelin received, quite impressive if I say so myself

Basketball Time

Caelin has begun another sport this time it is basketball and she loves it. I saw her play for the first time yesterday and was so impressed with how well she did. The first game Jeff got to see and I missed and the next they cancelled so it was fun to finally see her play after so much practice time. She shot the ball many times and made one. They beat Vail Academy 31-6. It brought memories of my Jr High and High School days of basketball.
Waiting to go in and PLAY!

And there she goes again!

She always seems to be where the ball is

Family Pictures

We finally had our family pictures done and they turned out so good. There are so many I don't know how to choose. But here are a few of our favorites!
