Valentine's 2011!

Valentine's will definitely be a memorable one this year. We spent the afternoon evening at the bank and car dealership. Since the day I met Jeff almost 12 years ago he has loved and wanted a Chevy Corvette, something he picked up from his dad I think. So he finally got the one he wanted. It is a 2006 Corvette and VERY NICE! Has everything you could ever want and it is even the color he would choose. So we traded in my Armada for a Corvette, so I am a "truck" driver. It is not bad just a bit of an adjustment. There will be things I will miss but I am happy with the truck and happy for Jeff. If nothing else it will save us every month, less insurance, less payment, and most of all less fuel. It was a good move!

Good Bye or See You Later.......

Whatever it is you say when you know it will be awhile before you see someone it is hard. My GREAT friend left this week and it has been emotional for me. As I think back over the years there are very few "close" friends that I have had. I am a stay to myself type of person and not outgoing at all. When Rachel moved here 3 years ago I had no clue as to how much she would change my life. She called me up one day (I had no clue as to who she was) and simply said "I have a little boy the same age as yours and would love to have a play date" and I guess you could say the rest is history. Rachel is the one I could count on for anything, anytime. I loved our walks with the kids (where the little ones became best friends as well) and I loved that she was so open and honest with me about everything. I will miss our tips to town where I could get what I need while she kept the kids and she got what she needed while I kept the kids. I know through our lives we meet people and have friends but it is rare to find such a great friend when our personalities are so different. I love you Rachel and I will miss you, but I WILL see you soon! Sadly I have a ton of memories but not many photos!
