Truck or Car?!?!?!

We have thought for a few months now that a new vehicle was in our future so we have been researching and looking (shopping) to see what was out there. With our new addition Jeff thought it was looking more and more like we needed to get serious. So we have looked at the Chevy Tahoe (my jogging stroller doesn't fit real well in the back), the Ford Expedition (I am not a Ford person and it just didn't grab me). In order to get plenty of room in the Ford we were looking at the Expedition EL which would be like a Suburban or Yukon XL, not quite what we wanted either. We looked at Toyota Sequoia (very nice but to get the size we wanted we had to go brand new and a little more than we wanted). Then finally we looked at the Nissan Armada (it seemed a perfect fit, a month ago when we first looked). It seats 8, the rear seat folds flat in a 60/40 configuration which gives extra room for stroller and still have one of the kids back there. So this was the one! After months of looking, searching, researching, and trying to decide what we really needed, this was it. So the question is car or truck? What do you call it?

8 years old!

So Caelin turned 8 on April 6, the day I turned 34. We had quite the eneventful party. I was sick with the flu all day and barely left the couch. We had told Caelin we would take her to the park and play with friends, but because I felt so lousy and the weather was terrible we decided to take her to dinner. She was more content to just be home and have pizza and ice cream cake. So that is what we did. Her baptism was scheduled for the 11th and she had the flu so now we are waiting until May for that. It is hard for me to believe that she is 8 already. I don't feel like that is possible. I guess it is true what they say the older you get the faster time flies. I wish I had a bunch of great things to tell about this birthday but it was so quiet.

Things about Caelin:

She is in the 2nd and loves her teacher Mrs. Noble.
She is an awesome big sister and loves her little brothers.
She still asks for a little sister and maybe she will get one one day soon!
She is a great help to me.
She loves to go anywhere to play with her friends.
She is a joy to have around!

9 Months!!

Is that even possible? Jett is nine months old today. He is quite the character to say the least. He is a totally different kid when he is around people he doesn't know. He will talk up a storm until someone comes and nothing (not a sound) will escape his lips. He is quite active to say the least. He crawls up on everything, has figured out how to get into my cabinets, and his latest stunt was he crawled out of his crib and yes hit the ground. He has quite a scratch on his nose and a little bruise on his forehead. He has also turned in to quite the Daddy's boy. He will go to his Dad anytime, anywhere. Sometimes he comes right back to me, but he sure likes his Dad these days. His one word is "dadda"!

So at his check up these are his current stats:
Height 28.5 inches - 60%
Weight 17 lbs and 7 oz - 8%
Head 46.3 cm - 78%
Dr. was a little concerned about the weight being so low, so we have a follow-up in 6 weeks. He eats good I am not too concerned about it, he looks healthy also. We will try some new food and see how he does.
