Happy Birthday Jett!

Today Jett turned 2, I honestly don't know where the time has gone.

He got so excited over everything (like you can't tell from the pictures). He got a quad so he could ride like everyone else in the family.

He was so excited for this snugly blanket from Grams and Papa.

His eyes lit up when he saw this ball from Grandma and Grandpa.

His favorite food is pizza so we went to Pizza Hut for dinner and then came home for some yummy brownies and presents to open.

Just a few things on little Jett.

I have joked that he has a bipolar personality. One minute he is fun loving and then the next he is mad and hitting someone, yelling, and throwing a total fit, or could it be those dreaded "terrible 2's".

He is still his daddy's boy and loves to be outside helping his dad with projects.

He loves his little sister and tolerates the older ones when they give him what he wants.

He is learning new words everyday his latest is Jace and okay (sounds like "otay"). I love this stage of learning new words when he can really communicate. Happy Birthday Jetter! We love you and enjoy the special part of our family you are. This house would be so dull without you.

More Family Time

Jett was blessed to be born with three other cousins close in age this is three of them, we are missing Kysen. From left to right Jett, Brinlee, and Marshall. Three boys and one girl, poor Brinlee, and those boys show her no mercy.

Calissa was blessed to be born with three cousins close in age also, a little closer than Jett and his cousins. Four babies in three months. From left to right Grams holding Emma and then Calissa and then Papa holding Brigham and Brikelle. Three girls and one boy, poor Brigham.

Lake Trip 2010

Roosevelt Lake

Every year my family has a week long trip to Roosevelt Lake. My parents spare no expense to make in memorable, fun, and relaxing. They do all the food for many of us (our numbers are growing too fast to count), plus with extended family and friends it is nothing short of a big task to take on. I feel blessed to have this time with family and am grateful to my parents who make it possible.

The Campsite (11 RV's and 4 Tents)

Our "home" away from home

Jett's favorite part of the week was that his Dad was there the whole time and they did projects together.

Funny thing the two older kids were never around for pictures. I have absolutely none of them.

Six Months Old!

Calissa on her 6 month birthday!

I can't believe she is 6 months already! Yes many things have happened I just haven't been good at keeping the blog up to date. I will try harder. So Calissa is 6 months and I am still trying to figure out where the time has gone and why my baby is growing so fast. At her check up this week her stats were:

Height - 25.8 inches 50% (dropped from 85%)
Weight - 14 pounds 8 oz - 22% (dropped from 53%)

She has not felt good this week and just found out this morning she has Roseola. She has had a fever for 5 days and it was finally gone last night and today she has a terrible rash. She hasn't eaten good, not sleeping well, and just not her happy self.

At 6 months she is almost ready to crawl, loves attention (from anyone), but likes her mom the most. She is happy and fun loving most of the time and her sister and brothers adore her. Her biggest smiles come when her dad comes home and has a minute for just her. She isn't a good eater has not decided she likes solids yet, but we are still trying.

We love you and wish you weren't growing quite so fast.

4 Months....

Calissa turned 4 months old on Sunday and today was her well baby check. It is hard to believe she is already that old, time is flying by. So her stats today were:

Weight - 13 pounds 12 ounces - 53%

Height - 25.3 inches - 83%

She is a great eater, a good sleeper, and an all around happy baby. I have often wished over the past couple of months that time could just stop and she would stay little, but everyday seems to just fly by for one reason or another.

I love you baby girl!!

Looking Back.....

So today I turn 35 and it feels like a milestone. It is hard to believe that I am that old...where oh where has the time gone??

Born April 6th 1975, Springerville, AZ with complications from Group B Strep, was flown to St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix where I was given 1 out of 7 chances to live. With much faith and prayers from my family I am here today.

At age 5 I started Kindergarten at Reserve Elementary, Reserve, NM. I vividly remember Mrs. Cole and the smell of the classroom and those "terrible" afternoon naps we had to have.

At age 10 my mom finally had a baby girl (Teonna) after having 4 boys in a row after me.

At age 15 I was working at AirStar (my favorite job ever, next to being a mom of course)

At age 20 I can't say I know exactly what I was doing at that time. I tried college and it didn't agree with me at the time. I dated all the wrong guys, but the things that kept me going were my family and my job at AirStar (a seven year dream job)

At age 25 I had just married the most amazing man. He is caring, considerate, and most of all loves me just the way I am. I never dreamed I would find anyone like him.

At age 30 I was a mother of two (Caelin 4 and Jace 2). How far I had come.

Today at age 35 I just celebrated my 10 year wedding anniversary and my marriage is better than ever. I am now a mother of four (Caelin 9 (today), Jace 7, Jett almost 21 months, and Calissa 4 months).

And lastly at age 35 after all my babies are here I am working my butt off to literally get my butt off.

And that is where the time has gone.

Spring Break 2010! (Part 1)

We had three weeks of Spring Break this year. Week one was a nice change of pace. At the end of the week on Friday I took a Spring Training game where the D-backs took on the Oakland A's.

"Real sports fans here"

Jett loves to be outside and Jace loves to be with friends

Caelin loves to hang out with the boys, that is one thing that never bothers her.

Week two was long and by the end I was ready for them to be back in school.
