Spring Break Week #2

So the second week of break was hanging out around here and thanks to my friend Rachel we had an eventful week. Tuesday we went to a Spring Training game and watched the DiamondBacks take on the White Sox. It was fun even for me to sit on the grass ($5 tickets) and let the kids run and soak up some sun. It was a warm 85 degrees that day.

Then another day we took the kids bowling. No my kids had never been to a bowling alley before they were thrilled. The only bowling they know is on the Wii. I bowled a 100 (what a great score) and that was with the bumpers in. I also did a big slip and came real close to falling right on my hind end. The kids missed the whole thing, but of course Rachel caught it all and was laughing so hard I am suprised she didn't pee her pants. We had some new adventures and a lot of fun! Jett slept through most of the game. What a great kid!!

Catch up! Spring Break Week #1

So I am a little behind on this post but need to get it in anyway. The kids had Spring Break the 9th thru the 20th. So the first week we took the 5th wheel and went to San Diego for a long weekend. We left Wednesday night and came home Sunday. We also got to take cute Netta with us and the kids drove her crazy! We parked about an hour outside of San Diego at about 2:30 a.m. and slept in a little the next morning. Thursday we got checked in at the RV Park and just relaxed the rest of the day. The kids rode bikes and we walked down by the water and enjoyed the day. That first day was actually the best day as far as weather went the whole weekend. Friday we went to the San Diego Zoo. That was a lot of fun. I even thought so. Jace got a little tired that day walking everywhere, I didn't think I needed a stroller for him, but I guess I could have used it. It seemed as though we had been all over the zoo, but I think we missed a few animals. It was well worth it and I would love to go again and not try to do everything in one day. Then on Saturday we went to the beach after lunch and had sweatshirts and pants. The sweatshirts came off for a little while but it was pretty chilly for a day at the beach. I have pictures from the zoo and the beach but they are stuck on my camera I will post them later.

Also on our grand adventure Jett took his first big fall. He pushed the screen door open and fell out of the trailer onto the pavement. Suprisingly there was no blood, just a scraped nose, a few tears and some rocks in the mouth he was ok. Here is a couple of pictures to show his scrapes. They really are hard to see but the pictures were cute anyway!

9 Amazing Years!

It so hard for me to believe as I look back that I have been married to Jeff for 9 years. Maybe it is more suprise that he has put up with me that long (according to my family). He is such an amazing man that there are so many days when I am in awe of all the he has accomplished in his life. I am also amazed at the strong person he is, especially when I need it. He is a great dad and his kids miss him everyday, they always ask "when will dad be home"? So much has happened over the last nine years, yet it seems like yesterday that we said "I DO". In nine years we have moved at least 9 times, had 3 kids (7, 6, and 9 months) and want one more, and have grown more than I thought possible. When I first met Jeff I was not sure how it would work out. He was living in Seattle and me in Tucson. I never thought he would make a life changing decision to move to be near me before we knew what the future would hold. On this special day I am so grateful for such a loving husband and father of my kids. I I am grateful he has made life changing decisions to make me a part of his life. I wish I could remember all the great things that has happend over the last nine years since I met the man of my dreams. I guess I will have to settle for these few. Happy Anniversary Babe! I Love You more than words can say!

Caught in the Act!!

Since Jett has learned to get around so well and has figured out how to crawl up on things as soon as the cabinet door came open he raced over to see what was in there. He hasn't however learned how to open the cabinet, YET, just a matter of time.
He sure enjoyed bagging around in there for a little while. Sorry the pictures are blurry and red-eyed, bad lighting. Sometimes you only get one shot!
