This and That

This past Friday was the Annual Sycamore Community Fair and I took Caelin and Jace for a couple of hours.  Caelin had signed up to help out and the NEHS booth so we did that.  I bid on a few items at the Silent Auction but didn't get anything.  I think the Fair gets bigger and bigger every year.  The kids had a lot of fun and I even got them fingerprinted.  It is a great event and the kids always love it

Then a couple of weeks ago I was able to go with the youth for the Stake Youth Conference where they walked 22 miles and ended up and the Gila Valley Temple.  They were sore, hot, tired, exhausted, but they did an amazing job.  I feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of this experience and to be able to serve with the Young Women. We had the most amazing host family that housed the girls on Friday night so they could get an early start.  Their home is right across the street from my dear sweet grandma who passed a way a few years ago, but that family went and sang to her shortly before she passed away.  It made the time in there home much sweeter.

This is a fabulous group of girls with a lot of heart!

The finish line

As we headed home!
On a much different note, but wanted to make sure I got a picture in, Jett was playing outside and I heard that blood curdling scream (the one I knew something was very wrong) I went out to check on him and he had made it to the door covered in blood.  He had fallen on some block and split open the back of his head
.

It was a good sized cut and probably should have had stitches but I didn't and I am sure he will have a nice scar forever!

OUCH!!! Poor Jett. The first of many bangs and scars for that kid.
Yeah for Community Fair. I miss Sycamore ALL the TIME. It is truly amazing, the staff, teachers and Mr. Graff are unique and fabulous. There aren't many elementary schools that would do all they do on behalf of the kids and families.
