Projects, Projects, and more Projects.........

This past month or should I say past 6 years has been one project after another. We tiled the laundry room, thanks to some help from Jeff's friend Jeff. It looks absolutely amazing. Still a few finishing touches to add but things are coming together.

We had a visit from Jeff's mom and step dad and we got some more rock down around the yard, it is exhausting work but the way it looks after is so worth it.

We did have some fun while they were here. We had a party for Jett, went to see Cars 2, we drove up Mt. Lemon, did some shopping, and ate (I gained a few pounds over the four days)

Jett and Calissa at the movie!

Our drive up Mt. Lemon (Grandma and the boys)

I started a painting project in the master bed/bathroom that turned into a much bigger project than I had hoped for. It too looks so much better and I wonder why I didn't start it sooner. It also needs a bit more work and some finishing touches but it looks so much better.

The weather has been so nice with the monsoons that I started clearing out the front yard to put rock in there.....

I have been quite ambitious this past month if I do say so myself. With the ambition also comes the exhaustion which is where I am today so I am sitting here blogging.

Now Jeff has been a big part in most of the projects (I did the painting and the front yard), but his never ending project is the block wall. His friend Jeff has been out to help a few days but he is making progress. He is close to having some block all the way around it will still take a while to get it up high enough but it is just a matter of time. He will get there!

Found this monster in the hot tub (YUCK!!!!)

A few happenings around this house but we are off for next weekend for a little get a way it can't be all work or we would get burned out!

LOOKS FABULOUS! You have been busy - so proud of your ambition! Way to go girl!!! Isn't it so exhilarating to step back and look at what you accomplished even just one day!?!? I love that - Everything looks really, really nice and I'm so glad you got to enjoy some time with Jean and Dave.
