Calissa finally arrived. She was born December 4, 2009 at 9:31 p.m. She weighed in at 8 pounds even and 20 3/4 inches long. She had a few issues coming into this world but she is happy and healthy. She was face up and bruised her forehead. Because of her positioning I felt a lot of labor towards the end even with the epideral. Why anyone would choose all natural is beyond me.
"She looks a little traumatized from the ordeal but is doing well now".
We were a little concerned as to how Jett would react to this new little person taking his territory but so far so good. The first evening was a little rough, but he hadn't had a good nap that day and I am sure that contributed to his attitude.
"I think he is going to be just fine"
We are adjusting to a busier house and precious baby.
"Aren't they cute"
Of all the kids Caelin was the most excited for the little sister.

Oh I love the picture of Big Brother Jett holding his new little sister. They will be best friends. And how happy does Caelin look to have her WISH come true.

Ah, what a sweetie! She has that Best look already too. Aliya got all bruised up when she was born as well. Poor babies. I'm glad you are all getting adjusted and that you and Calissa are doing well.
