My baby is six months old today and what a joy he has been to have around. He has the best smiles, even his Dad can't argue with that. Jett is the only one who can get his Dad to smile first thing in the morning. He can sit up on his own, he moves around the house in the walker, he is up on his hands and knees (and sometimes his toes). Sometimes he scoots backwards, but he is getting better about the forward motion and any day he will be crawling all over the house. He loves his solid foods. I quit nursing and he is all formula and he is doing great with it, (mom on the other hand not so great, another story for another time). He had his first 11 hour night two days ago. That was nice. He his doing great!
So today we has his 6 month check-up and shots, and this is how he was in the Dr.'s office until they started poking and prodding. These are his current stats. He weighs 16 pounds 7 ounces, he is 26 inches long, and according to them he has a big head. His weight is in the 31%, his height is in the 35%, and his head well it is in the 76%. I don't think he has a big head, but I am his mother and a little prejudice, I think he is perfect.When they started poking and prodding and giving shots he got really mad and started screaming (I hate that part), apparently so did Jace, when I looked over at him he had his ears plugged. He couldn't handle watching his little brother get picked on. My brothers probably would have laughed at me.

We know the only reason he might have a big head is that he is so smart. His head looks just fine to me. He may get that from me though. I always had to wear a big hat in band when I was in high school.
He really is the cutest kid ever! Its that toothless smile, its so contagious when he smiles everyone around him smiles.
