U of A Ice Cats

Last Friday we were able to go to the U of A Ice Hockey game with the Vail Vikings group. The tickets were free we only had to pay for parking. The kids absolutely loved it and cute little Jett would just giggle when the players would get slammed into the glass. We all loved it and definitely would love to go see that again. U of A played Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks and the Ice Cats smoked them 7 to 1. Such a great night of family time, we need more of these. :)

I had a hard time getting them all to look at me for a picture they were more interested on what was going on on the ice.
The girls were having a harder time!
Finally got one but Calissa is not so sure she was a bit tired it was a long night!

Happy Birthday Calissa

Today was my baby's 3rd birthday! It was such a fun day for us to spend together with her Daddy since he had been gone for 3 weeks. We went to town and had corn dogs for lunch, made birthday pumpkin brownies with pink frosting and airplanes (just what she had asked for), went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse where she was all excited until they started hollering and she lost it.

Calissa is the child who can melt your heart with her smile and send you running with her whine.

She is the child who loves to hug on her brother and the next minute tease him until he cries.

She is helpful and caring and loves to do things herself.

She knows what she wants and doesn't back down even if I try.

She is a girlie girl and a tom-boy all the same time.

She is the baby and she knows how to get a way with much more than she should.

She even sang her own birthday song! :)

We love you Baby Girl! Happy Birthday!

The End of Football

So yes I am slow and behind on the happenings around here but want things in anyway. Jace's football team "Vail Vikings - Mighty Might Purple" made it to the playoffs. They ended the regular season with 5 wins, 2 losses, and 1 tie, not too bad I didn't think. The final game was Saturday October 27 bright and early be on the field at 6:30 it was a bit chilly that morning but we were there to watch football and it doesn't get better than that. They played an undefeated team, that played a little dirty, but our boys played well and gave it there all. It was such a fun season and can't wait for next season.

Always loved to see him dressed in uniform!

Halloween 2012

As most of you know I am not a fan of Halloween but my kids love it (the candy and the dressing up). I took them twice this year (big for me). We went to Corona Ward trunk-or-treat and then went trick-or-treating on Halloween. It is fun to see them all dressed up!

Caelin

I am so far behind but wanted to get this in. She was awarded "High Honor Roll" for the first quarter. She was just shy of the 4.0 with her first ever "B". She just wants to work harder and she has.
